This project started as a rolling frame, 4 boxes, and short conversation on the bike’s history. It was purchased in Pennsylvania from the son of the original owner after his passing. The bike was taken by the new owner to a custom shop where it was taken apart to be restored which never happened, hence the boxes.
Design
76 was the first year of the iconic R100 and was equipped with some rare trims. Efforts were made to not only restore but also to improve performance. The color theory was directly inspired by this narrative, modern classic.
